Keep reading to find out how you can get to rest faster…
Avoid All Devices 1 Hour Before Bed
Blue light & stimulation is keeping you up much longer than you’d like to admit. Put the phone down and decompress. The sooner you let your mind take a break from the day and life around you, the sooner it will be ready to rest.
Have A Full, Balanced Dinner
Overeating may cause discomfort or give you more energy than you need for bedtime. Skipping dessert could also help.
Drink A Glass Of Milk Or Hot Water
Hydration is a very big part of a good nights rest. Milk may not be the best for hydration, but it contains tryptophan and melatonin which may help.
Walk After Dinner
A nice walk is a great way to spend quality time with your loved ones, unwind after a long day, and help you digest your food.
Let Go Of Your Thoughts
Responsibilities and “what if’s” can keep you tossing and turning all night long. Let it go. Over-thinking late into the night won’t solve your problems, but it WILL make you exhausted tomorrow.
